Singer was born on the 26th of November 1986 in Santa Monica California United States of America. She is the only daughter of Vincenzo Barba. In the year 2006, she and her parents moved with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. The violin was first played when she was four years old, and she was known as Violin Girl. She was referred to by her name due to her performance. She also taught the violin to children in the area. For the sixth season of American Idol, she sang Free in the year 1976, at which time she was 19 years old. But she was ejected from the show following her achievement of the 16th spot.
