Anne Celeste Heche, an American actor best known for her roles in the film and television styles. The general consensus is that Anne rejected the role as Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was chosen to play the role. Carpenter claims that she was interested but she refused. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or giving her the role. It's possible the agent turned it down on her behalf without telling the actress. The initial decision was by Glen Larson who sent her a sketchy script for a role in the 1978 show on TV Battlestar Galactica. The role was initially rejected because the character was not that robust. Afterward, Glen came up with a completely new role just for her with more powerful character Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted after Glen read the 25 page script. The season lasted for just one year. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
