Keesha Sharp
Tyler Perry's movie Why Did I Get Married also features her. Together with Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as indie film Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. Her other film credits comprise The 636 (for which she was awarded Best Actress in the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, and American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha was able to begin her career on stage after graduating from Cum Laude Conservatory with an B.F.A. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Keesha was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida. She's read August Wilson's Come and Gone alongside him. Alongside her performances on the screen and stage, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" and the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is working on several projects she is working on, for instance, Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. She's at present working on her debut full-length project following her smash album "Santa Baby."
